Little story about setangor develop! 

      Setanggor is well known with tourism destination based on local, cause this village was developed by local community from this village. Setanggor on few month ago was familliar with drunk village whiches all people from outside describe those village is drunk home cause they was selling arak and local alcohol from there. One of revolutioner  and she was one of the women from those village thought how to change the other image about those village. And she drove it all with come close to all stakeholder on this village and make some simple discusion about hers opinion. Firstly there was seperate people does not want it, cause they thought it will be change all the habits and culture by tourist when it function have to change. And then this women (miss ida) try to make them believe that is not gonna be like that, we have another solution about it, and i have it" ida said''.

      After all of stakeholders on this village has approve it, the miss ida start the function of that village with tourism. For miss ida, tourism is one from many ways to change economic of local people in setanggor village. Miss Ida make so many thing to make setanggor village know by all people, then she makes website of those village, allowed all the meeting in every development event, make relation with HPI (himpunan pramuwisata indonesia) association of indonesian guide, and also with local travel agent. right now, setanggor is one of populer destination in middle lombok regency specialy at west praya district.

         What is interesting thing will find by tourist when they come to setanggor village?

Cidomo

Setanggor village will serve you with so many thing as gardening (take some corn) at local garden, eating in the middle of rice-field, religious, learning local music and you guys will teach by local people there, education, you guys invited to see the proces of compot from buffole dung/horse dung/cow dung, and so many activities will you find there. But when you come for the first time on this village (Setanggor) you guys will welcoming by welcome dance with a group of dancer and local music. after this music finished guy will arrange to go inside the house to see the local dance of setanggor. on this dance you have to go practice with local dancer when they come to you and invite you to the small stand, and you have to dancing together with them.

after that dance you will alocated to another activities, it is gardening for pick some corn with cidomo (a horse with a small thing for your sitting. After picking some corn at theire garden you will come back to this village for sleeping.

           In the evening you are invited to join with local community for dancing. This is difference kind of dance, where the women prepare for the rice and the men seduce the women who arrange for rice with dancing. For you know, when you come to this village you have to wear sarong and had been prepare by ibu Ida on her houses. For this dance as well you have to use it while you dance in the middle of local people even your friend and step closing to the women place. When you get the rice from the women giving and should go back to your starting point with dance.
