Amazing Thing Will You Find In Raja Ampat

       I had an experince for the first time to put my feed at raja ampat. raja ampat is one of the regency in west papua province in the estern part of indonesia country. Raja ampat is located at waisai village about 2 hours from sorong which the center of more activities on this province. It is crossing by reguler boat within the scedule twice a day and sometimes three times a day. The size of the boat is accupancy more than 40 peoples in totaly with the crew on the botas. The boat is enough for the safety cause they have all about emergency near by the passanger areas.

Raja ampat has 610 island including raja ampat island, therefore 35 island has population and others not be use by local people in there even there is no name till now. Raja ampat has 4 main island, there are: Wayag island (Pulau Wayag), Painemu island (Pulau Painemu), Misol Island (Pulau Misol) and Batanta Island (Pulau batanta).

      Wajag island is north part of raja ampat side. the location is far away from center of raja ampat. at least 4 hours from waisai by reguler boat or phinisi boat. It can be used local boat or speed boat from sorong. the boat is always park near by the main harbour at sorong with populer name is Uasamina harbour (pelabuhan usamina). Actually the nicest place for snorkling around raja ampat island is on the north and south part even diving. Normaly the guest to rare go to this island because the distance and sometimes because the weather. on the north part we can see the tens island which like had been seting by the human, the panoramas we can see from the mountain peak. what will you find in underwater life there? Few month ago when i was there, i seen the baby shark, the small turtle, baracudas, smal stuff like parrot fish, and so many thing else will you see on this island. The habits activites in the afternoon is lagoon around the small island on wayag with the kayak (depend of the boat you used).

       Painemu is the center areas on raja ampat island. about 2 hour less from waisai by local boat. Actually all the tourist who want to do some underwater or trecking activity is mostly they come to painemu island, because the shortes one then others. On paenemu island actually you be able to do trecking with no registration on the main gate to the peak of painemu island. usually you will see the local people being sale the souvenir from one of the village in raja ampat and also young cocunats. it is around Rp 5.000 rupiah/cocunat. from the top of the mountain you can see around of that island and if the weather is good, you be able to see the one good village in the front of painemu island with good looking. when you crosssing to painemu there is one populer dive site in betwen painemu and waisai, it is manta point. On this place you guys invited to do some diving activities or snorkling to see the manta activity. If you are lucky, you guys can see hunderd mantas hangging on surfaces.

      Misol isand is the southest island of raja ampat. it is the log jouney one from all the island of raja ampat. it's around 12-14 hour to reach this island by local boat. On this island there are variative activities you can do like snorkling, divind, visiting cave with water on the ground, kayaking around the island with sunset and also trecking. on this island also you can see the mantas on the edge of one island, still they called manta point but in difference place. other hand, you can do visiting one cave in there with the pearl farm is on your side when you crossing it to reach the cave. i loved one place there when i was, it is jelly fish island. it was like felt part of them. when i went down to the deepest place, the jelly is looks like come close to me, and we don;t have to tuch, cause not all is friendly, sometimes when you touch it, you will itchying all the day.

       Batanta island is the last destination in usually activities by tourist when they visited raja ampat. because from batanta the boat is easy to get sorong not so hard like from misol because strong windy and sometimes big waves. On batanta you guys can see the kalong in the afternoon and also beaching with the white sand and cristal water. and also on this island you guys can see few resort with western managing.
